Mission Statement
CrashWith is re-inventing the hotel cost-sharing experience to make conventions more accessible to all, to mitigate the awkward money situations between Room Captain and Guest, and to eliminate scammers.
What We Do
CrashWith is a platform designed to connect convention attendees who want to share accommodations. We understand that hotel costs can be a significant barrier to attending conventions, and we're here to make that easier.
CrashWith has a Reservation Verification process to ensure that a reservation is legitimate. The Room Captain will benefit from a streamlined communcation process with the Guest, and the Guest will benefit from peace of mind knowing that they are interacting with a legitimate Room Captain.
Reservation Payout Assurance — Confidence for Every Stay
TL;DR: If a Guest needs to cancel late, they can still back out of the reservation. They'll receive a refund of the room listing price (minus the platform fee) — and the Room Captain keeps the payout they've already received.

Money conversations can be awkward, especially between strangers or new friends. Our platform handles payments transparently and fairly, eliminating the uncomfortable situations where Room Captains have to chase down guests for payment or guests worry about being scammed.
Safety & Trust
Convention room-sharing has historically been vulnerable to scammers who take payment and disappear, or guests who never pay up. We're building a system with verification and accountability to protect both Room Captains and Guests, creating a trustworthy environment for everyone.
The Problems We're Solving
- High Convention Costs: Hotel rooms near convention centers can be expensive, putting attendance out of reach for many people who would otherwise participate.
- Payment Awkwardness: Traditional room-sharing arrangements require trust and uncomfortable money conversations. Who pays what? When? How do you handle cancellations?
- Scams and Fraud: Without proper verification systems, both Room Captains and Guests are vulnerable to bad actors who take money without delivering, or occupy rooms without paying.
- Lack of Structure: Finding roommates through social media or forums is disorganized and risky, with no accountability or recourse if something goes wrong.
